October 2020 was full of disquietness in Nigeria. From October 5th to October 20th, multiple states within Nigeria decided to physically protest due to the years of police brutality we have suffered from the Special Anti-Robbery Squad otherwise known as SARS.

In 15 days, the country received widespread global support. Although death and violence plagued the duration of the protests throughout Lagos and Nigeria, the Lekki Toll Gate Massacre received an immense amount of coverage due to its location and the events surrounding that fateful evening.

Lagos has always been disquiet. Since October 20th, 2020, it would look like life has returned to normal. The government still hasn't ended SARS. The families of SARS victims still haven't been compensated. And our government still continues to deny its involvement in the events that took place that killed members of our community.
